O.O George going to church??!!
Well,no,not really. It's just that I might be slightly happier, thanks to some talking with an extremely supportive friend of mine. And besides that, this title means that I've got song lyrics for you...
"Everything Is Fine" by Josh Turner
I got a home down on the river
I'm married to the woman of my dreams
Got a good truck that gets me down the highway
Everything is perfect or so it seems
Momma and daddy come by sometimes
And everything is fine
My old dog does a little singing
Late at night when the moon gets bright
Sunday morning hear the church bells ringing
Let us go and see who's getting baptized
We gonna take us a Sunday drive
Cause everything is fine
Everything is fine, fine, fine
Through the sunshine and the rain
I got a peace of mind
You know I can't complain
I make it a point to thank the Lord
When I got Him on the line
I'm feeling good and everything is fine
Got the same job down at the warehouse
Ain't never been rich but I sleep at night
Got a little girl that looks like her mamma
She likes it when her daddy tucks her in real tight
One night this week we're gonna have a fish fry
Cause everything is fine, fine, fine
Through the sunshine and the rain
I got a peace of mind
You know I can't complain
I make it a point to thank the Lord
When I got Him on the line
I'm feeling good and everything is fine
Wahoo!!
I make it a point to thank the Lord
When I got Him on the line
I'm feeling good and everything is fine
I'm feeling good and everything is fine
Now,besides that,I've got 2 other rockin' new songs to recommend. They're Green Day's "Know Your Enemy"(Simply rockin' awesome) and Linkin Park's "New Divide"(Soundtrack of Transformers 2.What could you expect? They ended the 1st one with a Linkin Park number,so it's to be expected,no?).
This is probably the shortest update so far,and I've just heard you guys got 2 days left till mid-year ends...ARGH!!I'm so jealous right now because I'll have assignments and tests next month(before a full month holiday xd).Keep in touch with me alright?I miss you all.
Can't breathe without you,
Georgie

Vanishing into the mist
Rain,rain,go away
Come again another day;
Little(*gasp!!*)Georgie wants to play,
Go away,you Rain Of May.
Hehe,a little new twist to a kiddy song :D
Looks like everybody's been busy on their tests lately. All I have to say is Gambateh(literally, all the best)!!I'm having some rest in between the tests so yeahh, but it's like sooo boring having to wait for the next one.Just finished my geo,and I FEEL GUILTY.No,I didn't cheat, but helped once(grr, that was the no.1 guy(I'm no.2) in 1st test asking me....Making me feel sooo bad I wanna beat myself up) and also witnessed almost all cheating methods IN THE BOOK(peeking through blazer, discussion, hand notes, mobiles??Pathetic,I love CHMS because there's less of those, like almost 0%).*sigh*No wonder Aussies overexcelled at sports...
Surprise, surprise,I've temporarily given up reading....well,fiction ones of course, but not about human phsycology.Let's see,I'm reading a book called "No Body's Perfect" which tells of stories about people who were scrutinized about their non-curvy body(No idea where did boy stuff go,mostly it's about girls, and the book cover is PINK =.=).Besides that,I'm on WWII tanks, then about relationships(No,I'm not in one, just reading.I made up a "Mid-Year" resolution not to get involved with one,and I won't do so until I FEEL RIGHT,which means most probably not now,not in school times, and in my current state of mind, not EVER) and personalities.
Anyways,without further ado,I promised my 10 favourite songs of all time,didn't I?So then,let's get going!*Note:Sniff ratings are introduced,the higher,the more tearful I get XD
10)"I Feel Good " by James Brown(1960's-1970's)
The Godfather of Soul enters this list at No.10.One of the most influential musicians of the 20th century definitely made me feel GREAT!!
Favourite Line:So good!So good,I've gotten YOU!!
*Sniff rating:0/10 (Gotta believe me,this song just makes you go crazy)
9)"With Or Without You" by U2(1980's)
Still going strong after over 25 years is showbusiness and with the release of their latest album earlier this year,"No Line On The Horizon"(I think that's the name),we'll see more of them, like it or not.....They were born to sing for us :D
*Sniff rating:7.5/10
8)"As Long As You Love Me" by Backstreet Boys(Circa 1997-1998)
Ok,ok,I know people are crying out loud that this song shouldn't have made this list, but yeah,I just love em during the old days. That Pearlman dude...ergh...Well,at least BB managed a comeback with songs like "Incomplete" or "Inconsolable"(Which I might have added).I think they're split up now....So sad...
Favourite line:I don't care who you are, where you're from, what you did,as long as you love me....
*Sniff rating:8/10
7)"I Don't Wanna Miss A Thing" by Aerosmith (1998)
Gee,it was really such a VERY long time before Aerosmith caught my eye. What was Tyler thinking spending years being high??!!Probably saving his vocals for this tear-jerker...
Favourite lines:I don't wanna close my eyes,I don't wanna fall asleep,because I miss you baby,and I don't wanna miss a thing...
*Sniff rating:9/10
6)For You I Will by Teddy Geiger(Circa after 2005)
This song is considered new in the list, but it deserves to be here, mainly just because of it's simplicity.Just one guitar to make a melodious song...love ya Teddy!(Bear XD)
Favourite line:Nothing seems to be,nothing is sweet as what I can't have...
*Sniff rating:6/10 (It's practically a cheer-up song to me)
5)Hero by Chad Kroeger(I think)(1990's)
It's been a long time since I last heard this song, but I do recall it made me grab some tissues in a movie....
Favourite line:I can stand by you forever, and you can't take my breathe away(I forgot the lines XD I think this one's right)
*Sniff rating:7/10
4)Breaking Free by Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens (Circa 05-06)
Ok people, you are allowed to kill me for this XD,but I'd say THIS WAS THE BEST DUET I'VE EVER HEARD.No need for explanations, just either agree with me or you don't XD.
Favourite lines(I've memorised the whole thing,so I might write down everything, but I've made my choice):Can you feel it building, like a wave the oceans just can't control.Connected by our feelings, oooh in our very souls....
*Sniff rating:9/10(NOT GIVING IT A 10,almost did...)
Ok then, there were some shockers, but I'm sure you all are glad HSM didn't get to the top right XD??You probably have heard of the top 3,but they're all pretty old,the oldest being almost my dad's age(what??!!) and the most recent around 05-06..
3)Lips Of An Angel by Hinder(2005)
Back in Brunei this song was at No.1 for 5 straight weeks in a certain chart I couldn't remember.I used to hate it but after some time it sounded really touching.SHOULD NOT MISS THIS SONG.
Favourite line:It's really good to hear your voice, saying my name it sounds so sweet.Coming from the lips of an angel, here are those words that makes me weak:"Let it die" Never wanna say goodbye, but how you make it hard to be fading for, with the lips of an angel....(Once again,I screwed up with the lyrics...)
*Sniff rating:8.5/10(Honey,why are you calling me so late??!!LOL)
2)When You Say Nothing At All by Ronan Keating(Around 1999)
I am sooo mesmerised right now....it's been over 10 years, yet it feels so recent...I'd guess I am in some trouble right now....
Favourite lines(Memorised all...):The touch of you hand let's you catch me wherever I fall........You say it best....When you say nothing at all...
*sniff rating:9.5/10(waaaaahhhhhhhh!!!!!)
And now....
#1
You've Lost That Lovin' Feeling by The Righteous Brothers (1960's)
Ok,now that was unexpected.REALLY,I didn't really remember till a few days ago when I thought of Tom Cruise in a movie.I was like:"oh yeah that one!!"I'm still whistling it like 7,8 times a day haha.
Favourite lines(Can I have 2 please? LOL)
:You never close you eyes anymore when I kiss your lips...Ther's no tenderness like before in your fingertips....
And the line I'd most LOVE to use from this song XD:Baby, babyI'd get down on my knees for you....If you would only love me,I'd give it to you...
*Sniff rating:0/10(Please,I'm over Pluto right now... XD)
Sayy,I'd dead from turning red haha,ok then...I guess I gotta go.Hmm,I think I'll add my top 5 favourite cuisines as well...Ciao!!

Timeline,The Final Countdown
Hey guys sorry for the long delay. It's juts I've been having stress and all so bear with me yeah??
First of all:Weather Report:RAIN IS BRISBANE FROM TUESDAY TILL WEEKEND!!YOU CAN'T BE SERIOUS!!!Yes,apparently it hasn't been raining for like a month now and suddenly Brisbane had it's wettest May on record...Hmmm...was it caused by a person from Brunei who migrated here?LOL probably haha.
Next up,I'm really not happy with mum invading my privacy.Yesh, apparently she's not content enough with access to my gwws1994 e-mail(she doesn't have her own, grrr). She practically asked for my normal one,and I just had to dodge that by well, dodging.Seriously, she can't stop poking her nose into my stuff....first my room(I can't do what I wanna do.You know, reading??),now my e-mail....what's next??!!
Geez,it's seriously a headache if a person doesn't have time alone.I mean,I think sometimes it's best to leave things as they are,not come barging in demanding to know everything.
Harrumph!!Well,I'm onto something that many people are gonna hate me for:I'M READING TWILIGHT.Here's a timeline depicting all the drama so far.

So far:(3.5/5)
OkayyI'll drop down a few book ratings as well..
1)The Tales Of Beetle The Bard by J.K Rowling(3 stars)
Folk stories written by DumbledoreIt's short and nice, but for kids.Picked out of curiousity, enjoyed it,but it's too short...
2)Prey by Michael Crichton(3 1/2 stars)
Nanobots gone wild. They're super intelligent as well, and they're taking over...
Crichton's techno thrillers are constantly gripping, but being a fan,I've gotten used to it.Hence, this book isn't really full of surprises,as long as you keep your guard up.
3)Timeline by Michael Crichton(4 stars)
Team of scientists excavating in France were sent to rescue their leader who mistakenly went back to the Hundred Year's War between France and England after curiousity led him to discover a "time machine"(forgot what they call it,something to do with quantum physics)after a meeting with a billionare in the US who funded the excavation.
Now this is something new from Crichton.Time travel, parallel universe,paradox....whew,loads for me,but it's cool.Just simply love the theories(you know, the weird ones...).And yep,I agree,we're weaker than the humans of the middle ages in terms of strength. As for languages,I've probably picked up a little French and Latin XD
To be reviewed soon:Eragon(And it's not looking good...)

To kill the one I love
Don't be fooled by the title,it's just a line from a book I've read recently, and it's RRRREEEEAAALLLLLYYYY GOOD.
Anyways nothing much to report today, except I have english assignment tomorrow and need to pass up my Religion report(grrrr).Besides that,I cheer myself up by reading books(when will I ever stop...) and cooled off a little(but still snappy).
This post is gonna be short but I'll just talk about the coming posts:
1)I'm gonna name My Top 10 favourite songs of ALL time (Borig topic I know..)
WHAT I MAY INCLUDE:Probably the songs you don't wanna hear
WHAT I WON'T INCLUDE:The most recent ones(Too bad "Love Story"....)
2)My top 10 favourite movies of all time,so far.... (Franchises count as 1 just to be fair)
WHAT I MAY INCLUDE:I'm no straightforward action dude.Be in for some shocks.I love rom-coms.....
WHAT I WON'T INCLUDE: NO HSM,Eragon or a few fantasy movis because I think they're just not good enough. Also,no Gone WIth The Wind,The Sound Of Music or Casablanca or some other classics because I don't watch em XP
3)Book Series Battle Royale
Monster mashing up,but I'll just list out all the series I've read(including Twilight,I'm gonna read it just to make sure I get all the corners covered.)
I'll create a poll,so vote if you like.Probably there'll be some that's unknown to you.
To make it fair as well,I'll take ONLY 1 series from each author.
Anyways,books anyone?
1)Vampire Academy:Shadow Kiss (5 stars)
I just had to break that 4 1/2 star barrier XD.This is the best I've read so far.To lose the one you love and the one that loves you.To fight against one's wishes and to fight for it,simply just brought me out of depresion. My teachers know I've been reading, and my bio,Mr. Bird(No fooling, cool dude, just don't get too noisy and don't make fun of his name),after noticing I had a big smile while focusing on the pages :"I can see that's a really good book.""YES SIR!"
I finished it and became depressed once more.....as if I'm like the character in the book who was shadow kissed (but we're of different gender, mind you). The 4th book is coming out in 3 months so yeahhh.....long wait
2)Maximum Ride:School's Out Forever (4 stars)
Better than the 1st one,but still, the names puzzle me.....And enemies called Erasers(not made of that material, they're wolves, with wings now...)?Nothing much to say about it,it's just some weird sci-fi novel that has a magnet to it...
Okay, time to go.And just to let you all know,I'm always there(if there was a hologram or some teleport machine).......
xoxxoXooOxxOOx,lol

Where'd I Go
*yawn*You know,I've been REALLLLY stressed out lately so I might probably pos up less often.Basically my antidepressant is just books(never get tired of 'em.Gotta read em all!)And I've found some new goodies and also probably a story to tell.
Why not the story 1st?Yesh,it involves me geting really p*ssed off at someone.
I'm in maths class (still on F4 recap mode but there's something new about it) and my buddy beside me,James(not my dad) was like pushing my books towards the edge of the table. And it tipped over.He was like :"Oops!Sorry..."Frankly,he did this on purpose, but I didn't really mind. But he soon touched my nerves when he actually repeated the same thing again, twice in fact.I'm not usually a hothead, and I like my nick to be Iceman(George "Iceman"Wong?Nah,George "Georgie" Wong sounds better XD),but I directed a glare at his still smiling face:
"You do that agin, you pick em up.I'm really not in the mood right now"
And if that wasn't enough, the next day in maths once more,he asked me:"Are you still mad at me?" I was reading a book(since I've finished my work, supposedly homework and there's nothing left to do) and you know,I don't really like being distracted. But seriously,he's absolutely, totally wayyyy more immature than I am(I'm not saying I'm a full adult,it's just that he's acting like a baby.Note:He's not helping me to be a daddy and I'm not in the mood for girls.)So I was like:"Get over with it"and he replied:"Why?"
The question "why" I would say is the most irritating question I've heard.Mum asks it when she doesn't know what's going on(and soon makes her own assumptions and insists that she's right without hearing the full picture) and as for James,ARGH.I replied the same thing and he asked again,5 times in total, the other 3 when I'm ignoring him.If it was an atlas book I was reading,I'd gladly break his nose and risk detention(as if I were dumb enough to do that).
One thing I don't like about James is that he's one of those "grabbing teacher's attention" type. He'd practically ask kiddy questions, and I'd say I'm pretty unfortunate to have him as my seatmate. On the other hand,Duke, who like James is a Korean,is more of a wise guy.Amazing how friendship works, huh?
Hmm,books.....boookkkkkkkkssssss.....LATEST VICTIMS
1)Darren Shan 7-9 (4 1/2 stars)
It just got better, all the twist and turns.Teacher and student romanc?ewwwww, but yeah,I feel bad for Darren. And CRESPLEY....NOOOOOOOO!!!!!YESSSSS!!!!!Great,one wasted chapter on making me happy and dropping me down to the spikes next....where did Mika and Arrow go??(Paris went to Paradise. There goes the Eiffel Tower XD)
2)Darren Shan 10-12( 4 1/2 stars)
Reunions are weird.Darn that Steve......and hu-ha!!Fights!!Love Cormac Limbs XD.Tempted fate and didn't die,but have two extra eyes to cry.The ending wasn't really good,a bit of a drag perhaps....
3)Vampire Academy by Richelle Mead (3 1/2 stars)(RECOMMENDED EVEN FOR TWILIGHT HATERS e.g probably me)
It starts slowly, but picks up during the middle.....Feeding blood better than s*x?O.O Weird....charming,17 yr old Rose falls for 24 yr old instructor,Dimitri and someone has a crush on her, plus a rumour spreader who tries to mix in with the royals, and Rose's best friend,Lissa(with 2 's' really),who's a special in something magical.
The names are quite a handful, but good stuff.DON'T MISS IT
4)Vampire Academy:Frostbite by Richelle Mead(4 1/2 stars)(MUST CONTINUE THIS SERIES)
Lovely, simple awesome, and I might take ages to finish, but I'll take out the plot.Academy goes on skiing trip, enemies appear and Rose and the gang chase em down.GO GIR.....*ahem*why are boys soooo sidekicks?XP
5)Maximum Ride:The Angel Experiment(3 stars)
It's a decent start from the No.1 International bestselling author James Patterson, but I'd say it passed the bar I set in order to continue.6 kids,98% human,2% birds, not angels, althoughone of the is called Angel. You know the protocol:Experimentation of humans.....still,I'm hangin around to find out....
The end for now...Ta-ta!

The Part Of Me That Left Yesterday
As you all might know, dad came back.
A few nights ago,he asked me a question:
"Why do you wear that emotion on your face all the time?"
He was referring to the dark look I had whenever I walked around.
If I could reply,I'd say that's my nature.Do I really have to wear that bright smile of hope and happiness?
Ever since I've got here,it's been nothing but plain sorrow feelings for me.I've been trying to pick up the pieces(I think I've used it a tad too much),pushing myself to move on.I just couldn't....I dwell on the past. When I'm alone, flashbacks occur to me.All those moments....all those sweet, joyful times when there was an expression called laughter that exists within me almost every single day.
Now I sill do have it,but it feels less lively.I no longer look forward to a schoolday that might have full of surprises when temperatures are below 25 degrees Celsius (A bit cold for now) and rain is scarce.I often wonder if life could get any better in this part of the world where swearing, drinking, partying, making lewd comments and being high are common(more on the "high" part later).Sometimes I just wish the whole world around me could stop for just one day watching rugby matches, bet on racehorses or doing those that I mentioned earlier and be what I want it to be (no explanations, just nothing Aussie and something else).
Too bad,I'm looking at a train right now(more on trains as well),coming from my right.I turn my head to the east,I see the past.I saw all the brightness within me replaced with an emotion called pain.I turn my head to the west,I see the future, where I'd be walking on a road, the only one I've ever known. And I don't know where it goes, but it's only me and I walk alone. So I turn my head to the north, and I realise that I had a gift floating towards my hands. This is the present, and I found it to be a type of Pandora's box.I've opened it and I'm still searching for something called hope at the bottom of the box,but to no avail.Maybe hope flew away as well,I do not know, but someday I know time's up.
For now, homie's light is dead and gone
