SW19

Back again!!Yes,it's getting more and more frequent for me to post nowadays. It's mainly just the holidays and I'm doing nothing but compter, tennis and TV.Well, today,I'd be combining all three right here:Using the computer to talk about Wimbledon which I'm currently watching on television XD.

For those who don't really follow tennis,Wimbledon is one of the four Grand Slams in tennis and is undoubtedly one of the most prestigious tournaments ever(being around since the 1880's).If this post were to be about Wimbledon,I could seriously babble on and on about it XD.I'd say it's definitely a dream to play there, being one of the four Grand Slams. In fact,it's te one tournament I REALLY hope to play in when I'm a senior(long way to go).

Now,what's happening in Wimbledon so far?No rain(1st time in history),new roof and that Swiss guy(Federer XD) chasing a record 15th Grand Slam(beating Pete Sampras's count of 14).

Awww,Federer's going to win again?Well, for those who hope not,I'm half-with you XD.Well, history's on the line here, sometimes it's just gotta be appreciated. In the meantime,I'll just rant along about the players that could beat Federer.

9)Juan Martin Del Potro
Lost in 5 against Fed in French.Dang the NERVES!!
What happened?Lost to Hewitt in 3 sets in the 2nd round(heck yeahh!!)
If played Federer:Best chance=Lost in 3

8)Fernando Verdasco
I think he'd stop worrying about his looks and start getting better.Just can't seem to beat players above his ranking of 8.
What happened?Lost to Ivo "The Bomber" Karlovic in the 4th round
If vs Federer:Best chance=Lost in 3

7)Jo-Wilfred Tsonga
WOOOOO!!TSONGA TSUNAMI!!Too bad it's not on hardcourt...
What happened?Lost to "The Bomber"(same person again....)in the 3rd round
If vs Federer:Best chance=Lost in 4

6)Ivo Karlovic
XD The Bomber himself.REALLY.It's actually a bore to watch him because he only just serves XD.Problem is:Stick your racket out,get the ball in and you'll win the point LOL.
What happened?Lost to Fed in quarters in 3
If he played Fed when Roger was "normal",he could possibly won in 4 sets.Ivo needs to work on his shots and not relying too much on his serve(more entertaining that way XD)

5)Tommy Haas
Surprise package once more....beat Novak Djokovic(getting tired?) to meet Federer in semis.Tommy's kind of like a prototype Federer XD.Yummy, someone has a chance here :D
Hopefully:Haas in 5 sets(30%)
Probable realistic scenario:Federer in 4(70%)
Give or take 10%

4)Novak Djokovic
Honestly, can't beat Federer, not even in hope.....
What happened?Lost to Haas in 3 in quarters
If vs Federer:Lost in 4

3)Andy Murray
GGGRRRRREEEAAATTTTT SCOTS!!!He does have a good chance actually. He's in the semis as well, against my no.2 pick Andy Roddick
If vs Federer:Murray or Federer in 4 or 5 sets (45% for Murray)
Really, anything could happen for my top 3 picks

2)Andy Roddick
:D Best chance of the semi-finalists to beat Feder in my opinion.Problem is he lost 3 times in the finals to that Swiss guy.Times might change.Beat Hewitt in 5 set epic last night(marvelous, love the match,a bit upset at the outcome XD).
If vs Federer:Either players in 4 or 5 sets(50% chance)

1)Lleyton Hewitt
COME ON!!!!!!!!!!!!Back from a hip surgery and played really well.Too bad Roddick outclassed him in quarters *sniff*.Beat Del Potro and then Radek Stepanek before going down to A-Rod
If vs Federer:Either in 3-5 sets(55% for Hewitt)

I don't really bother about the women's draw.I miss Henin and Sharapova's out.Newcomer Melanie Oudin's a new one to watch.Out of the 4 semifinalists(Safina,Dementieva and the Williams),I have a feeling it's either Dementieva's time
or another Williams win(More likely Serena).Safina's not good enough really.....

Doubles?I'd go for Bryan brothers or any US players in mens and Sam Stosur and Renae Stubbs from Aussie in womens.

That's all folks for this nonsense edition of Life,Love,Truth n Heartbreaks XD.

You know,I do have one post I'd like to write on,but I'm not fully angry enough yet....It's REALLY depressing....
