Love,Love,Love

As promised,here are my 7 romance novels,from worst to best.If I mentioned 9 in an earlier post,sorry hehe,I haven't finished the other 2

7)Love Cuts (3 stars)
Nothing much really,two sisters,one married with a daughter,the other on-and-off with a circus performer.Sisters' friend had a bf that's lovey-dovey.Friend has cancer.

This isn't really good in my eyes, and the star of the book is GASP!A chemise!!yeah,a piece of clothing stole the show, providing the funniest and most touching moments in my opinion....

6)Romeo Of The Underworld (3 1/2 stars)
Pretty odd plot here.Who would start with the main man almost dying on a plane crash?Well, the guy survived. He flew because an old friend of had invited him over.Friend has to leave, and the 36 year old found an 18 yr old girl.Guy thinks she's familiar, remembers of his past love and searches for her family to make up the time he lost.

It's something like that.It is pretty complex, and it would have been really good if it weren't for the last sentence in the book, which shows that he gave up on his past love.I felt like shouting:RUINS!! just because of that sentence which spoiled the whole thing

5)Stoker's Bay (4 stars)
Boy goes boarding for 5 years, and before that, parents told him about ***.Ridiculous.4 years passed, and in the 5th year he found a girl and a best friend.Best friend likes her too. That makes 2 boys,so add a 3rd who's a mechanic for her dad and it's chaos!!Not for those who like blood as in comes in the end,but it's worth reading and it actually made me crumble when I finished it.Don't look at the back,I know it's irresistible, but don't....

4)Looking For Alibrandi(4 stars)
A female vice-captain likes a male captain from another school and another male captain from another school likes her.Throw in illegitimacy, multiculturalism,a shocking plot and her b*tchy captain and you'll get something saucy. The movie's not bad either....

3)Touch Me (4 stars)
Football star falls in love with another "boy".Gay? NAhhh...you'll find it out.Really touching stuff...Shows how bad boys can be(and gallant :D).

2)Fifteen Love(4 stars)
Mia thinks boys are stupid.
They use 1% of their brains
All they talk about is cars and sports
All they think about is ***

Will is a boy who wants to know what girls talk about
He wishes he had a secret mirophone in the girls toilet.

This is a story of a boy and a girl,a viola and a tennis racket, friends, family and love.

Short, but hilarious and sweet, containing bad viola jokes and a tennis star serving up a love storm.

1)Pride and Prejudice(4 1/2 stars)
Absolute classic.Who would think a man like that would exist? Not telliing you everything, read and be charmed. If it's dull, bear with it until you get electrified.Set in the early 19th century, this is a novel that remains the benchmark of romance for more generations to come

Whole lot of things in just one post

Ok everyone,it's gonna be a short summary this time...if I had internet everyday...then it woulda been a long,good story,but yeah,please forgive me T>T

Basically....there are just about 4 things for this week

1)I missed the social on Friday night.
Why?I conducted my own 'survey' and asked my buddies in school.Almost everyone went, save for me and my Korean buddies. And I would say practically 100% of the boys who went just wanna grab some girls.....PATHETIC!!WHAT ON EARTH IS WRONG WITH THEM??!!Geez....really immature.Period.That's what really separate the men from the boys:Girls.I'm not calling myself a man or anything,I'm taking this from an alien point of view XD.Boys chase girls, but men are content with the one they love and no one else.

2)I've been reading romance novels
No Twilight yet,but I'm beginning to think it's a bad choice.I found that recent romance novels are not really up to par with the old times, but there's some I would recommend in the books category. It's in my post later..

3)Sports
I'm kind of sloww around here, but I've been performing pretty average in my tennis so yeah,I'm heading into training for the school..

4)Music
There's really soo much to love, too bad there's no Chinese...ARGH!!

Well...apologies for the shorts but yeahh...I'll update as much once the internet's available

Girls.....boys just can't beat them when playing against them...

Heyaz people I might be taking a short hiatus, problably until my 1st term hols in 3 weeks so yeah, maybe less updates.Hopefully,I'll pull through and keep this bugger improvised.

As you know, this story is not about life, but about tennis...And yeah,I flunked to a girl again XD.

Well, the story begins with something weird from me.

I had a tennis buddy,Zack who said to me:"Girls are hot, aren't they?" =.= Certainly I was in no mood, and replied:"Don't think of girls, seriously, don't even try till you're done with your studies, got a job and stable income,etc,etc...After all,you don't wanna be a daddy when you're 18 right?"And aparently,ex-tennis college captain Steve, who's now coaching,so happens to catch a little of what I said...and I supposed he thought I said something pervy XD(Go figure out the sentence).

Ah well,I went about my tennis with one of my mates,Alex, who's a Pinoy just like half of me.We were told to practice our smashes with our partners who were girls. And guess what?I smashed, wrong direction and hit one of em.Ouch!!

She had a payback though, when we were playing a game which does not allow you to volley,I got forced to the net,and she hit towards me.Couldn't dodge, and the ball plowed through my stomach. The side effect:Stomach ache for the remainder of the time.

Next up,we had to play 1 game against each person. And yep,I lost to her again.Geez,I mean,me and Alex are shorter than the two girls and we're younger,so no shame right?hehe, called that being bullied XD.Girls are SOOOOO unfair because they're taller XD....

The Chemist,Need Of Help and Close Call

Sorry for the lame topic, but I'm gonna make it pretty short.First of all,I got a video showing the reaction between pure sodium and hot water(Hehe fun!!).I'm gonna need some help in getting it up in my blog so yeah, anyone can help, please do,I appreciate that. Also I've got some photos from my trip to the Underwater World which I also want to upload(Maybe you get to see my face XD)

Lastly,I'm in trouble....big trouble....a report says I've been skipping school(I don't do that,do I?Except the one on F4 where I skipped chinese due to crying cuz offailing my A-Maths).All thanks to my switch of subs.Dad wanted me to take Physics instead of Geo,so I changed just for what he wanted...and ta-dah....My timetable is mixed up.Thanks to my dean though,I was found totally innocent.Still....I don't know what's gonna happen......

Against The Storm(And Chinese)

Sorry if I kept you all waiting, but yeah,I suppose some of you know about Cyclone Hamish lurking around(it's almost gone now) on Tuesday. We had our bio excursion and it was HEADING RIGHT INTO THE STORM.Can you believe it?Nuts!!The cyclone could have head straight towrds us at anytime.Fortunately we were about 250-300 km away but still....WHOOOOOOSH!

Our excursion took us to Mooloolaba Underwater World. It's not really that big as the Australia Zoo or the one in Singapore, but it still is a beauty. There are so many fine specimens there. There's even a glowing fish, lungfish, sawfish(yep, doesn't cut down trees though),a tunnel which contains soooo many different fishes, rays(which occasionally give us their belly) and.........SSSSSSHHHHHHHAAAARRRRRKKKKKSSSS!!!!(We're gonna need a bigger boat Zzzzz)We had an assignment to do there, which is using the dichotomous key on the shatrk you pick to determine what shark is it.Simple, isn't it?Well,if you know what shark it is.....Leopard,Wobblegong,Grey Nurses,Mako(Sorry Jaws fans,no great whites here..)

There was also a time for a little show which involves sea lions. And boy,are they playful!!At the start of the show, the host was calling out for one of the sea lions for a few times.Unfortunately the animal didn't appear,so he went to the back and check(apparently it was a trained act).As he was away, out comes the bugger from the water, opens up the box,and munches the food. The guy comes back out,and thinks nothing happened....until he checked the box...hehe....

Basically the seals were told to do special tricks like handstand, contortion(that puts me to shame),wave hands and also do the 'pai seh' face XD.HONTONI KAWAII DESHI!!There was young lucky audience member who got to feed one of the seals. It was awesome to see the seal do a high jump(I'm in even more shame now XD).But the funny part was somehow the audience slipped and fell into the pool.Luckily, she could swim, and so the host told her to swim to an island in the middle of the pool....And OUT COMES A SHARK!!(IT's not a trained one).Nah kidding,it's actually a seal swimming around with the Jaws soundtrack playing XD.And out pops the seal, with something in it's mouth.....A PAIR OF SHORTS!!!Ahem, talk about a naughty seal haha...

Like every placeof interest there's bound to be a souvenir shop, but I won't tell you what I bought XD...You guess haha

My Warwick Misery and My 1st Excursion

OK guys,I've just got back from Warwick after a long 2 hour drive that made my butt flat, and yeah,I went out in the 2nd round to the 4th seed of the tournament.I played sooo bad but yeah, good thinds come with sacrifices.

In the 1st round,I had to face a lefty, and I forgot to mention that I HAVE NOT BEATEN A LEFTY BEFORE.And to make things worse,I'm playing on grasscourts, which I would say is a surface I detest. So lefty+grasscourts=My tennis horror movie

But yeah,I pulled through in straight sets to win my first tourney singles match in Oz and meet up against the 4th seed.Gee,I only had a 2 our rest,so I grabbed a quick bite of Sandwich ,shower and go out again. And boy oh boy,did I played miserably.I went down in straights, but yeah, there were some thing I am happy with, just not the right ones, but the odd ones XD

My stats throughout my 2 matches were:
1)HALF OF MY CURRENT CAREER ACES(Around 7 of em)
Yes,yes,I know this is nothing to boast about, but it was pretty odd I served up that much aces.Really,I was surprised myself.I mean,I couldn't help but smile at myself at em,especially during my loss.My 1st serve pulled through really well at that time.It went BOOM!the point was over or I would win it within the next 3 shots. My 1st serve percentage was kinda average 60%(above my usual average of below 40 ),but points won,man....I've not serve that good for my 1st serve since I started tennis(IN other words,my best 1st serve performance so far).I had tons of blasters, but what a better way to compliment it with good 2nd serves?Guess what,OVER 20 double faults.....

Yep,my 1st serve was a bit Sampras-like alright(of course, not totally Sampras,I'm just exaggerating),and if my 1st serve destroys my opponent,my 2nd serve destroys me.Only about 20% of the time did my 2nd serve went in during my second round match. This means that I'm having a vice versa day...

2)My groundstrokes

I totally screwed up in this one.About 20 winners and slightly more unforced errors. My backhand was mainly the fault while my forehand was the point winner. But yeah, bad days...

3)My style of play
Four words:I HATE GRASS COURTS!!!I would go for attacking shots normally and I continued to do so.However I'm supposed to do hook shots, which is creating short angled balls instead of smacking em....Too bad....

Anyways I don't have much to say except I'm having a S.O.R(E!!) test tomorrow on graduation and baptism so yeahh....

WAIT,WAIT,WAIT!!My excursion on Bilogy IS ON!!WOOHOO!!I'm gonna get some pictures!!Maybe I'll post em here so you guys can see my face alright??!!Hehe don't even think of me as handsome, but don't put me on the ugliest list either XD.See ya!!

The Road To Warwick,The Biology MOT(Moment of truth),the oddness of S.O.R.(E!!) and The Tears From the Hurricane

Morning people, and I mean morning, because IT'S 5 AM HERE AND I WOKE UP BECAUSE I COULDN'T SLEEP MUCH!!This means it's gonna be 3am when this post is up and you guys are problably sleeping(Unless you're mentally disabled enough to stay awake and read XD).

Today is a Saturday, and yeah, time to go to Warwick. Two hours drive there,so I'd better get ready, get my stuff packing and hope for the best.I dond't know how good the field is out there, but it could be tight. What I know is if I lose, mom and dad are almost certain to screw me up(if I played badly). To make conditions worse, dad just recently switched my Luxelon Big Banger string I used before on my racket into a Wilson N16 and a Babolat string(I hace 2 rackets, you see).A change of strings means time to adjust to it,and heck...I only had like 2 days?I tried em out,at least Babolat was almost like the Luxelon. But the Wilson....Zzzzzzzzz

My Biology paper just came back and I got a C.Yep,it is terrible, because it's a C level exam, which means C IS THE HIGHEST YOU CAN GET.Pretty odd system these guys have down here, but yeah,I don't think it was a good start.I might feed you guys some questions in case there's some stuff in F4 here that's different(Believe me,I had to learn some Latin and Greek for the species name).

Speaking of test papers with odd systems,S.O.R.(E!!) test is on Monday, and we had the paper yesterday to bring home, pratice, memorise and bring the test paper on Monday. This is really weird, and I feel I'm cheating.....

Lastly,I watched a documentary about what happened at Hurricane Katrina, and it DEVASTATED ME.I'm not overreacting,it was really heart wrenching, all the chaos, politics, and even the songs.I just found out the song "Wake Me Up When September Ends" is actually a song made after the hurricane struck...it was pretty emotional.....and I should learn not to listen to songs that are good, but their meanings....

Anyways, mom just caught me so I gotta act like a normal day now and I'm OFF TO WAR(WICK)!!Adios amigos!

The Attack Of The Killer Children!!Plus My Geography Disaster and a Maths question for you all

You saw the title, now HEAR THE STORY

Is it too boring to be in the bus to school?Well,it's not today, because apparently......thanks to a missing bus(I didn't miss it,it just didn't appear) and I had to get on the next one half an hour later.

Usually there would be full of Nudgee students on this particular bus,and all went well.....UNTIL THE DRIVER STOPPED AT A BUS STOP AND THERE WERE ABOUT 30 EXTRA PRIMARY STUDENTS FROM ANOTHER SCHOOL!!ARGH...There goes my space for my bags....and I'm suffocating. So when the bus reached Nudgee, the Nudgee army left the bus, shocked and stunned at the loss to school children XD

My bad luck continued with my Geography test. It's been over a year since I had once.I felt pretty upbeat till I reached the last page."Nepal,dang...."I didn't read much about Nepal,so I screwed up...but I still do hope that I could get good grades or else someone's gonna kill me...

As you all know,my Mathematics has been weakening over the years, and today really showed how dumb I am now.So ladies and gentlemen, pick up your papers and pencils and be ready for this question.

A boat is at a jetty. It travels 36km downstream to point A and takes 8 hours for a round trip.It takes 10 hours one way for it to travel 60km upsteam to point B.Calculate the speed of the boat in still waters and the speed of the current.Write down the assumptions and their effects and the validity of your answer.

That's all for now.Next week I might be going on an excursion to an Underwater world and the BEACH!!(Ooooooooooh la-la!)So yeah..if things look up,cameras clicking!

Happy Bad-day to me

Well,oh well oh well....I'm 15 today, and had lots of bad luck too..

1st of all,I woke up in the morning and LOST MY WALLET!!OMG,there goes my school ID T>T.I think it dropped on the bus yesterday soo great start...

Then I had to fight with my sore arm just to practice a little of my serve, and dang did it go REALLY WRONG.Practically,I've been practicing almost everyday to prepare for the Warwick Junior Tennis Championships this weekend so wish me luck!!But luck wasn't on my racket, and my string snapped T>T Now I have to get used to the Wilson string which TOTALLY reduces my power.ARGH!

And you think it could get any worse??!!It just did...I did miserably on my Chinese class, heck, out of 50 ting xie ti mu,I'd problably get less than 5.That Hong Kong teacher!!Pronounciation is SOOOOO different, even my cleanest ears couldn't get em.And after the ting xie we had to match them with their english meanings....advantage to China and Taiwanese people and not the lone Malaysian.

Ah well,to top it all off,I had a mall party with my parents and some of dad's pals,we ordered Domino's Pizza(Pizza Hut of Aussie I would say) and yeah,I did fatten up a little fit,so tomorrow I'm gonna eat less to keep in shape.Don't wanna see me as a barrel,no?

I've gotta study for my last bad luck tonight for Geo tomorrow(which is killing me) so yeahh, see you soon!
