Stepping Up Against The Boys

Weird title huh?

It's just something I'd like to talk about for this post but before that, lemme give you a recap of my week(Till today)

1)I still can't get over the fact that Rafa(Nadal) lost to Soderling(kudos and he's up against Gonzalez which I don't really care as long as one of em takes down that Swiss guy,but I prefer the hotshot Chilean)

2)I feel bad for Maria(Sharapova) but I'm sure she'll get back to the top.

3)I could talk about the French Open forever but I know when to stop :D

4)I finished Twilight(NOOOOOO!!!!GEORGE,HOW COULD YOU??!!)

5)New Moon,Eclipse and Breaking Dawn are with me as well(I don't know you ,George!!)

6)I've got tests(Annoying...)

7)I'm playing chess once more, and someone forgot to tell me I'm supposed to lose....XD

Well that's all.A review for Twilight will come later(Love it or hate it)

Now,the title doesn't mean that I'm a girl, mind you,but a particular event on a bus ride which REALLY irked me....I'll just get straight to the story

I was on the bus home today. And there were a couple of rowdy students(Nudgee,duh...) older than me(education level wise, they vary, some senior, some juniors) and were the type of normal Ozs,you know, like no holding back over swearing and all the mischief.Believe me,someone was pressing the button at each and every bus stop when NO ONE gets out.ERGH,what imbeciles(oops)....they're practically the most immature bunch of people I HAVE EVER SEEN.I mean,WHY CAN'T THEY BEHAVE ??!!I WONDER WHAT'LL THEY DO IF THEY WERE THE DRIVERS......Geez,bet they weren't gentlemanly enough to think of that...I'm not saying I'm a nice person,it's just absolutely,Freakishly,HUGEly,STUPENDOUSLY IMMATURE!!And that's not the main event, but the next one is....

At one particular bus stop, there were a bunch of girls(don't expect me to think of them as "pretty" because I've no time for anything nowadays) from another school. And the Nudgee bunch I was talking about were like hollering at them(probably lewd stuff, but I assure you there wasn't a hint of good.I only caught one of em shouting:"Don't get on the bus" through the window in some kind of raspy voice).I have to admit, wearing what they're wearing(the uniform) makes me feel disgusted at myself. Why do I have to be in this "prestigious"(correct my english if I'm wrong) school where the standard of "idiocracy" is high??The fact that the bunch of Nudgees have the guts to shout obscenities at the girls from another school shows that the school I'm in is probably "uncivilised" in terms of society.

And guess what I did:NOTHING.I'm feeling bad about this,really...because there might be things I would have done:
a)Tell them to stop and risk being picked on or worse,a brawl
b)Practically leave the bus

Both options are in my terms, stupid.I'm not a person who's willing to take sides, nor act,but for this one,I'm truly against the bunch that call themselves Nudgee. If only I had courage to probably stand up,but you all know me,weak,cowardly....I guess that's who I am and what I'll be.I don't like the prospect of being the "knight in shining armour"(never did, plus I don't like seeing people as damsels in distress) as well, and I don't wanna get involved in any clashes.Nothing suits me in this situation(except a bystander).Life here's still something I'm not gonna cherish....

Bah!!Forget the talk,time for Twilight
Rating: 3.5/5
It wasn't as bad as I thought it would be,nor was it extraordinarily eye-catching.Too many usage of "I love you"(really, even the most faithful couldn't utter that much in a lifetime XD)and lots of cliches.Still,it was pretty ok,minus the stupid vampire myths.Shining in the sun:LAME

I'm currently reading New Moon now,and I have to admit,it's getting more tiresome.Plus, without Edward things aren't right.....

I'll probably reviw New Moon on the next post. But till then,I've got a tennis tourney to go to,and where else would it be other than the Gold Coast.Nope,no Surfer's Paradise or Miami Beach(REALLY,NOT JUST FLORIDA) for me,but smacking down tennis balls.

Gotta go,soups on and so's work.

George
